Storm Damage Hurricane Harvey Hurricane Harvey 2017

On August 11th 2017 SERVPRO of North Richland Hills posted a blog asking "Are You Hurricane Ready?"

On August 25th 2017, Hurricane Harvey hit land in Houston, Texas and the storm lasted for 117 hours. Hurricane Harvey made history with the worst hurricane disaster in since 1961. Businesses, homes, even the shelters preparing for evacuees were flooded.

SERVPRO of North Richland Hills was called to start helping with the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey. The picture shown, here, was taken on September 10th 2017. Notice, 16 days after Hurricane Harvey made landfall there is still standing water. Initially, reached over 6 feet of standing water. SERVPRO of North Richland Hills was able to extract all water and immediately start the mitigation process. It took another 16 days until SERVPRO of North Richland Hills was able to complete the job. Once done though, it was "Like it never even happened."
